which style do you prefer for our forum?

forgot: in case you do not know how, go to user control panel and then board preferences to select the styles.

i voted for rainbow pearl .. it was my first choice, but I'd be OK with prosilver2 (2nd choice) or starcraft (3rd choice).

I'm leaning toward the WoW one - I like that combination of colors the most - but Rainbow Pearl is a close second.

I voted for the Starcraft theme. Aside from the Starcraft image at the top right, it is by far my favorite; the coloring is nice, it's MUCH easier on my eyes, and I can see if there is an unread discussion.

My second choice would be the WOW(Red) theme, again nice coloring and easy on the eyes.

well call me old fashioned but I like the subsilvr2 style, its simple and easy to read without a tone of clutter and flash.

i am refreshing this thread as it seems a lot of people arestill using the default theme from phpBB. wow alliance red looks much more like a gaming site. instructions for changing are in the first post. default is wow aliane red, but you can choose any of the installed themes for yourself.

i also updated the top left and right game screen shot logos. you will only see them if you run wow alliance red though.

I voted starcraft, but I may look at "whipping up" a "mechwarrior" style if anyone is interested.

might be OK, but we do not all do mechwarrior.

I voted prosilver; been using it since I signed up; just clean and easy on the eyes, but given I can choose whatever default doesn't really matter much to me.

I didn't mean as a default, just something else to pick from.

Really, a modification of the SC style might work. Only thing you might want to alter is the image at the top (header). Could replace it with a "collage" of different games. /shrug

hmmm, it hs been a while since i looked at these. i like the starcraft one too!

and if anyone wants, you can search for themes for phpBB 3 and i can install them to take a look. we are running 3.0.11.

I've been running the SC theme, much easier on the eyes.

Ya something similar to that ... I have some photoshop skills and can spin up a phpbb on my dads site. I'll take a swing at a MW theme and a modified SC theme, which probably won't amount to much more then creating a generic header. If I get something going i'll post some links / screen shots.

I use prosilver. It's what I've been using for years now so I'm just used to it!
