When we drove through AZ on the way back from Texas, it was a steady 105 degrees throughout the state, and spilling over into El Centro, CA.

So glad I don't live there, UGH!

Evidently it's been hot pretty much across the entire Northern Hemisphere this summer.

It's supposed to be 92 here tomorrow, and 94 on Friday. So it's not over yet.

A heat advisory remains in effect from noon EDT /11 am CDT/ today
to 7 PM EDT /6 PM CDT/ this evening. A heat advisory remains in
effect from noon EDT /11 am CDT/ to 7 PM EDT /6 PM CDT/ Saturday.

* High temperatures for today and Saturday will be in the mid to
upper 90s. These temperatures combined with high relative
humidity... will result in peak heat index values running around
105 along and west of Interstate 65... including Louisville and
Bowling Green... to 100 to 105 across those areas east of I-65
including Lexington and Frankfort. This prolonged high heat and
humidity will be a danger... especially to the Young and elderly.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A heat advisory means that a period of hot temperatures is
expected. The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity
will combine to create a situation in which heat illnesses are
possible. Drink plenty of fluids... stay in an air-conditioned
room... stay out of the sun... and check up on relatives and
neighbors.

We had the lowest average temperature for the month of July in 77 years. It has been very cool this year, I can't complain. I haven't even had to turn on my A/C this Summer....yet.

Did your local news shows talk about how this disproves Global Warming? I ask because whenever the temperatures are really hot it seems the news media are always saying right away "see? This proves Global Warming!!"
