I was at best buy on Sat. and saw this boxed set. A set I have been wanting and now its only $25. It is well worth it. If you saw it on HBO a few years ago or missed it, I recommend getting this set. Well done and actually better looking than Apollo 13 (same production crew, hell even a lot of the same guys in mission control) and it just looks good. I wanted it on blue-ray but didnt see it, even so up converted to 1080p it looked real good on the 50" plasma.
The episode covering Apollo 12 was funny, kinda told thru the eyes of LMP Bean. The episode covering Apollo 13 takes a very different twist by dealing with the crisis thru the eyes of the media. I'd still like to know what brand of ball Shepard tee off on Apollo 14.....speculation was it was a Titlist, imagine that add campaign?
All in all, a good dvd set.
