saw this yesterday - looks pretty consoley though. still could be fun, but very bloody for no reason - any beings just do not have that much blood in them. wonder if it can be turned down.

is it third person? anyone know how multiplayer works?

I think its FPS and 3rd person for a couple weapons... chainsword and one or two others. I never envisioned the tabletop game to be so bloody, but THQ does push it with these games. Some of the kill sequences in DOW II have blood squirting everywhere. It doesn't really bother me in the least, but I can see where it would get to some people. I don't know why they do that; the combat is constant and brutal in W40K, but whatevs.

No idea how the multiplayer works, but I think they are making it simultaneously for 360 and ps3, so im not surprised that its taking on some consoleness. As long as it isnt a bad after thought port like the game that comes free with the preorder I won't be too upset. I had a joystick plugged in when I started darksiders and could not use the mouse until I unplugged it and restarted the game. It litterally had A, B, X and crap on the screen; I hope for MUCH better than that.

The support books for tabletop Warhammer 40k describe battles as absolutely horrific. The backstory is so evil and dark its disturbing. If you can find the game module books somewhere with the back story in them, read and cringe.
