Summer Projects and New Wheels

About 2 weeks ago I started my backyard project of getting set for building a 2 car garage and work shop in my backyard next summer. That entailed demo'ing pretty much everything in my backyard like 1 really screwed up maple (hollow to the core and about to fall on my next door neighbors garage), 2 storage outbuildings (one some dingy metal thing that held nothing but mice poop and spiders, and one sort of nice 10'x16' shed that had been lifted about 6 inches off its foundation by another massive Maple tree), taking the massive, massive amount of concrete (porch slab was 7" thick with a 18" deep perimeter footing, which the massive maple was also picking up and tilting to the house), some sidewalks (which the said massive Maple was also picking up) and tearing down my "vintage" 50's style twisted wire ornamental fencing that Fenway can jump over without breaking stride as it was only 36" tall.
In all of thats place will be a new wood deck with a nice concrete pad for the Smoker and Charcoal grill , extended driveway slab (basically doubling the width of the current one that just wide enough for my Honda) that will extend into the back yard for a fenced in parking place for my Xterra.....er...I mean my truck (more on that in a minute. Also a new 7' tall cedar privacy fence w/ metal posts around the entire back yard, and for now a new 10x14 storage shed for the mower and other stuff, and a new front and read yard sprinkler system. Fenway will for now have just over 4000 sq. feet to roam.
Next summer I am putting in a 28'x28' 2-car garage with a 8'x16' extension and finishing up the rest of the driveway slab.
Whew! and that dosnt include all the landscaping I'm doing myself.
I also needed something to haul stuff with as the Xterra was showing its age (9 hard years) and I wanted a truck so.....
I bought over the weekend a Dodge 1500 4x4 Crew Cab. The 5.7 Hemi can get out of its own way thats for sure but filling the 32 gal. tank is slightly painful.
Thats my honda next to it in the driveway of my Dads house which we are still working at cleaning out so we can sell it.
Going to be a busy summer.
