If you have Diplomacy or Trinity you can get $10 off of Rebellion up to the end of this month. After that you have to pay the full price (think $39.99), so if you made the mistake of getting Diplomacy in either form like I did, get your money back while you can...

What does Rebellion add to Sins?

Ok, I'll be buying it. Unfortunately I never bought Trinity or Diplomacy so no discount for me.

Corvettes, Titans, and new Capital ships. Also Rebel and Loyalist Factions with different tech trees. I believe they've prettied up some of the graphics as well. Looks promising. Also, if you preorder you get in on the beta (which is not available yet - seems on the forums people are chomping at the bit because it has been available for preorder since March.

Ok, I will definitely buy this and am looking forward to playing it with the RLG guys. :-)

Yes, it looks like it will add some new elements of fun to a one of the favorites. The Titan ships sound frikkan' cool; I hope they are balanced though,so that building a Titan does not mean it is just the end of the game.

Nice grammar there Mr. English teacher. :P

Don't hack RTS's until you've tried them. When is the last time you played an RTS with us?

Good to see you on the forums Grifter. :)

Hey at least Grifter has never used the word "irregardless". If he did though I'd have to get medieval on his ass. LOL

He lives close to Rhode Island. Those fuckers love to use that 'word' and it slips into southern MA all the time. He could have been tainted at a young age to say it before receiving an education. I had to be mocked out of its usage; my mother was among the day walkers from RI speaking the dark language that only they refer to as english. All the more reason to make that shit state a parking lot for MA. Now if we can just find a use for CT.

Rhode Island is definitely one of those unnecessary States. Can't Connecticut just annex it?

Same thing with North and South Dakota. Can't they just merge? Each of those States has less than 2 million people so do we really need TWO Dakotas?

Back on topic - lets hope they learned their errors in Pirates of a Solar Empire (a.k.a SoaSE: Diplomacy) and cut pirates back.

I played an 8 way FFA with 7 computers yesterday and won. I wanted to clear out the pirates before calling it a day... I should put a time lapsed video up so you can see the idiocy. I had max fleet capacity and 16 Kol Class Cap ships. Sent it all in at the same time and got wiped out. Rebuilt the entire fleet, sent it in and lost, I think, 11 Cap ships and a big chunk of my fleet. Overpowered much, ya think?

I think by the end it was just to make some quantifiable measurement of the absuditity. Losing 26 of 32 cap ships... ya, rather insane.

Thank god you can fast forward gameplay
