STO Hacked

Heh. Just a couple of weeks ago several people reported that their STO accounts had been hacked. You know how that goes. Not Cryptic's fault! Anyone whose account got hacked brought it on themselves by visiting the wrong websites! Yup, yup. Like the STO wiki site (not run by Cryptic), where, according to some folks, a keylogger was found in a third-party ad.
Knowing how Cryptic operates, in the process of fixing things they'll probably wind up either accidentally deleting the game.
