If anyone's missed it, with the release of LOMAC 3, there is now quite a list of flyable aircraft:
A-10A
A-10C
F-15C
Ka-50
MiG-29A
MiG-29S
P-51D
Su-25
Su-25T
Su-27
Su-33

Install DCS World to get the Su-25T for free. The better modeled aircraft (A-10C, Ka-50, P-51D) are purchasable via individual modules, along with the rest in LOMAC 3. There is also a Combined Arms module for controlling ground units and doing JTAC stuff. You don't need the same modules as everyone else to play together, so if you just want the A-10C for example, just purchase the single module. Be aware LOMAC 3 requires an older version - something to do with stupid Ubi licensing.

http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/i ... op&lang=en - the 1.2.2 versions. The 1.1.1.1 are older, though technically a license for them should work just fine for installing modules in World.

Correct. And that gets you the Su-25T, which I think is modeled a bit better than the LOMAC 3 aircraft, though it's not as well modeled as the A-10C or Ka-50. It is still a great starter and a difficult challenge (at least for me) to land.
