More infos from ze wikipedia:
"On April 3, 2013, Disney confirmed that LucasArts would cease to operate as a video game developer and serve as a licensor, with video games being developed by either third-party companies or Disney Interactive Studios. As a result, all of its future projects were cancelled, and most of its staff was laid off from the company. Disney indicated that the new business model would '[minimize] the company's risk while achieving a broad portfolio of quality Star Wars games.' Around 150 staff lost their jobs as a result of the closure."
Evidently one of the future projects that got canned was an 'aerial combat' game. Wonder that kind of aerial combat it was going to be?

This may actually be good for us gamers since it means that other talented developers outside of LA will now have a chance to make games based on the SW universe. Don't forget that many of the really good SW themed games of the past were made outside of LA. Empire At War, Jedi Academy, Jedi Outcast, etc.

I can say with 99.5% certainty that it would have been an arcade-type game probably similar to something like Crimson Skies or Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe.

LucasArts is in the Bay area, not LA. I have been to JAK Studios at Skywalker Ranch, we have installed systems at the Presidio as well.

LA = Lucasarts. I wasn't talking about the city.
