Wife to be Accident, watch for dumb people

For those that don't know, Viv, the wife to be in less then a month now got into a accident. Basically she was making a left turn, light s went amber, she waited as 3 cars blew a LATE yellow. Light now red so she had to exist intersection by taking her turn. 3rd lane, someone she never saw when she checked (trust me she checked) was racing the light and blew a red light at 100kph (60kph limit). she hit the side of car (lucky she was not tbones).
In the end she only had some pain in her thumb, aggravated a OLD whiplash and a minor concussion. she walked away from this one. Only issue with recovery is she has some vertigo (inner ear crystals moved because of accident, I had to look it up to) and the remains of concussion means she cant drive or sit at a pc so if off work now for 3 weeks. But she its almost completely cleared up so hoping she can start driving whiten a few days and back to work in another week or so.
So hey guys, BE safe, Ie check, check again and hell check again as some people are dumb. In a weird coincident, one of our friends just wrote off his bike in a similar accident Monday, he is riding along and someone just attempted to drive across the street and he hit the side of the car. Again dumb people, but scary part is dike or car both incidents where preventable and could have happened same way if in a car or bike.
