sounds like its a good idea to not do any updates in the near future in you're running Nvidia?

Yes, according to the article, I wouldn’t update my drivers until this mess is cleared up. It looks like there is a possibility that end-user software could you’ll be compromised. Anyone know where we might look for a reliable confirmation that this concern has been dealt with, and we can go back to updating our drivers normally? I assume we would want to just keep checking nVidia’s website?

yes, my source tells me extremely unlikely that any such injection occurred in the driver software stream, and you have probably noticed a lack of news on the threat made by the hackers. i updated last week before flying at some point. plus your on system anti-virus should find anything.
