Well, it's all good at the mo! I have managed to resolve the issue of the Maxtor NOT formatting into NTFS - done now, although I had to re-install absolutely everything :roll: . Am currently going throught the updating process for all my programs, and should be running fairly well soon.
I even got the "you've only got an XP1900+ cpu" problem - had me worried they'd tried to con me at one stage - turns out you have to make sure you have the FSB set to 166MHz in the BIOS for a correct analysis :oops: .
And to cap it all off I have everything running under WinXP too, as my young lady just brought back a copy of the Home Edition yesterday - awesome!
