Congrats Nemisis! You did rather well last night in our Furball. Whooped up on our asses big time. It was a close fight at the end though.

I learned a few new things last night, like how NOT to get shot down in a highly damaged plane. I could only turn left at one point and I still managed to avoid being shot down.

I am gonna have my plane checked out though, cause for some reason a always had a bandit on my 6, ARGH! Nothing like being in the defensive all night. I also found out that the "I'll hit the brakes and he'll fly right by" tactic from the Top Gun movie works in F4 as well. I did this 3 times last night and it worked perfectly.

Besides having to eject from running out of gas 2 times, having to land at an airbase after taking heavy damage 2 times, and being shot down by my teammate 2 times (Kudos to Raptor), I didn't do too bad last night. I was only shot down 1 or 2 times last night from the enemy that I can recall.

Have to agree with you on the damaged flight control you had, managed to doge my cannon fire long enough for Raptor to come in and force me to go Defensive long enough for you to RTB safely, good work on Raptors part there.

One lesson to be learned there is not to turn your back on a damaged plane, since if he's still flying he's still a threat! One pilot done this to me when i was on Hyperlobby in a DF he got me badly beat up and then waited for me to crash my crippled F16 into the ground (i had no HUD and same as you could only turn in one direction) what he didn't count on was me turning into him and letting lose a sidewinder up his tail pipe!! HeHe

I got shot down 3 times last night and ran into the ground twice and ejected due to running out of fuel once, which accounted for my 6 deaths.

Also i think Raptor got shot down most last night out of your team, he kept trying his old slow speed trick trying to stall me out or get me to overshoot but i'm getting wise to that move, he also likes hugging the harddeck, this is a bad move i think (no offense Raptor ) since it restricts his manouvering options, on the flip side it was great fun watching my gun fire tear up the ground just below him when i was on his 6, i also think i blew away half a tower block when he flew past a small city

I think i could definitley teach you guys how to perform better in the scissors manouver, all about timing that one.

Anyway great fun IMHO and my signature now reflects the biggest truth in a dog fight i think.

congrats Nemesis! Hey guys I'll be back playing F4 on Tuesday or Monday nights with any luck sometime soon. Depends if I can work the kinks out of my schedule. THis semester is a wash because Tuesday nights I have class. But hopefully I can work a flight or two in. Miss flying with ya'all already. Need my f4 fix.
