I have now been forbidden to get up early if you guys want to play, and this is all because I missed you all by 1 hour this morning.

Tough being on seperate continents and in different time zones. Perhaps we should schedule some afternoon games this summer to support our British comrades?

If we can get something like an Iraqi Freedom campaign up and running, that would give us all something to do.

why would missing us get your parents to forbid you from attempting to do so in the future?

My dad is like that. Quite frankly, I think that he is getting tyrannical, and is losing his memory. He is always in a bad mood, and he asks about something several times in one minute. The list is almost endless, and I don't have the time to write out everything.

Woosh sounds like you got a real finiky Dad there.
To think that he would ban you from going on line with us just because you missed us??????
Very strange. I would understand if you had got up early to be online with us and you woke everyone up in the house doing it, but to ban you just cause you got up early and missed us.
I will try and make myself available mid afternoonish at weekends so you can get a flight in, but can't promise anything since Tracey might have stuff she wants me to do, we never plan what we do at weekends it just sort of happens if you know what i mean.
My advice, save up and buy him a bottle of Glen Morangie Single Malt Whisky £18, and a large Cigar that should put a smile on his face it works for me.
OH and don't let him see this post ever! or you might lose use of the computer all together!!!

The next time he says something wrong, like "it's 4 PM" when it's only 3:45, you should tell him you're banning him from telling time EVER again.
Actually, your dad sounds like my dad when he was drinking, before he went to AA.

I would love to forbid my dad from telling the time. His estimations leave everything to be desired. He says things will take about 15 minutes, but I am lucky if they are done in 1 and a half hours
!! Both my parents say it is the middle of the night when it is about 5 in the morning. With regards to this post, He never EVER looks on here-I don't think he completely knows that I'm in. I did apply at the start of fall (autumn to Brits) last year, but nothing happened. He did know about that, but he doesn't know that I reapplied this year.

Hell, I thought I'd lost it! My kids are always lookin' stupid at me as if I've got a screw loose - but your's has lost the plot mate. But I kinda see what he's getting at; as far as he is concerned it was a waste of time for you to be up at that time, and it is pointless trying again cos he can only see the same thing happening. But I'll be around a lot to get online for something, so keep looking out for me.
By the way, what do you mean he doesn't know you are "in"? In what?
