That is rubbish. Don't believe everything you read on the internet Grifter. I seriously doubt it will be finished by then, I haven't heard ANYTHING about it. Nothing, nada, zip. You know something we don't?
I am waiting anxiously for Wartime Command (WWII RTS), due out for release in August. (Fingers crossed)

Hey I'm not stupid. I know it will most likely not be released on time. But, a few sources, including the official codemasters website, project that they will be releasing on that date. In fact, my original post was a quote from the codemaster site, I believe. I'm sure it will take a bit longer than the projection.

If the release date stands true, then it's gonna be a ROCKIN Christmas!
I hope to heck I am wrong about my previous post.

Speaking of releases - it would appear there is some trouble ahead for G-R2. A Star'n'Stripes translation of a newsreport from a Korean newspaper condeming their choice of theatre operations seems to have put the cat amongst the pigeons there. Whether it has any bearing on the game itself or perhaps just aids souring of relations who knows. But time will tell, perhaps there will be a need to alter the contents of the game - causing the inevitable delay!
Anyway that was reported on the newspage of ghostrecon.net today.

Koreans always complaining about everything we do. They said James Bond: Die Another Day was insulting. Can they give it a rest?

I'd have to say, that is doubtful, given the current economical climate in N. Korea - which they see as an excuse to be very angry at the rest of the World, especially those capitalist pig Americans.
In my opinion they are spoiling for a fight, and just looking for an excuse to dive into S. Korea.
Whether thet are actually stupid enough to do it is another matter altogether - especially given what they've seen done in Iraq (even though that didn't quite go according to plan for us), and everyone knows there is nothing more than public outcry these days, because there is no-one big enough to fight back. The Chinese probably think they are big and bad enough, there certainly are enough of them, but are they big enough militarily? Doubtful.

You ever notice how everyone is watching what American/British media release, but I could'nt tell you what the last N. Korean film was? (probably entitled "Do as your told, eat your gruel, or put a bullet in the back of your head and throw you in a ditch" A snappy title if not a bit long!) Anyway, seems that everyone is watching every move we make, but most of us have no idea, could care less, what N.Koreans have released in the media lately, or ever for that matter. What a bunch of dumbasses. They have the odacity to sit there and act as though they are the ones being persecuted? Sheesh, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to realize that's propaganda. Oh well, some people never learn, not even when you drive an Abrams into their kitchen and buzz their tallest buildings with F18s.
