Our ground school instructor showed us the Flight Tutor Lab today, and my oh my! Before my eyes I beheld about 20 computers (P4 over 1gig machines w/ video cards...) that all had FS2002 Pro installed on them. Not only that, but they include flight yokes, throttles, rudder pedals, mixture controls, and radio/navigation buttons

Its a dream come true!

Oh yeah, today I got my flight medical. Its a First Class certificate, which gives me every medical privilege for flight ratings, all the way up to Airline Transport Pilot. Yesssss!

So to get to my topic title...maybe I could get some WOF flight time in, hehehe....or maybe not, does it really matter with a sim that great?

I must say though, I do miss flying with you guys! I'll be home in December, so I'll be sure to fly then!

Sounds like you are having a great time.

Kind of reminds me when I was selected to the San Diego Police Academy back in 1991 as an open enrollee student (AOJ was my major), it was the best life experience I have ever had (Next to my USMC tour). I wanted so bad to be in law enforcement, and to be selected to goto the police academy (which is very rare) was a dream come true. The Police Academy is an experience I will never forget. After many years of trying to get hired by various agencies, and going through the political ropes/chains, I just gave up trying to accomplish my dream. I decided to move on to bigger and better things.

Anyway, I hope everything works out for you and you accomplish your dream.
