Hey Viper,

I put these on my site for you to DL. I will put the links for RW and TW.

Hope this helps:

Roger Wilco

Team Wilco (Win XP Version 1.6)

Team Wilco (Original Version 1.4)

BTW, I have not been able to get TW to work properly with Win XP. Try the XP version first, and if that doesn't work, try the original version first. Also, remember to install TW first and then RW.

See ya

As steel said the system seemed to come back up later on last night and Katana is right about not needing it as Grifter took me on my first flight OL last night using his IP on RW.

It was great fun Having the dogfight on Grifters wing but as shown on the mission we tried later i have got a lot to learn, my first attempt at taxiing ended up with me beached on a sand bar next to the runway  so embarising and then my PC CTD several times during the mission.

But it helped out a lot as it gave me a better way to set up my X45, going to change a few things around a bit for quicker access and have also set up a button for RW on it so i don't have to take my hands off the throttle to speak! Viper i suggest you do the same with yours when setting it up makes a world of difference. I used Fire button C at the front of the stick!

I have changed a few settings to free up more Ram while OL and am getting another 128meg added on Wednesday so hopefully this will resolve the issue.

System at the moment is 500mhz Pent 3, ATI Rage 128 16meg graphics card with 128 meg RAM. going to 256 meg. and 17 gig hard Drive.

I'm going to see how much to upgrade the Graphics card to something like a 32 meg or 64 meg (any suggestions) i don't want to upgrade this PC to much as i'm hopefully going to get a new PC early next year somthime top of the range if i can get it (2.8 gig pent 4 and all the trimmings). Just need to persuade the wife that we really need it.

Nemisis.

Watch out for those sand pits they can really ruin your day, not to mention your EGO. Now where is that NWS button again?

The only time you really need Team Wilco is if you are going to switch channels in a game. So I agree, to say that we really don't need it, but it's nice to have when it works.

Nemesis,
I would look at geForce 3 or 4 card with 64 MB if you are going to get a new one... You do need tomake sure your motherboard can handle greater that AGP1...newer cards are no longer backwards compatible.

Raptor seems to like his kludge card (Radeon), I am not sure why? :)

GF4 MX cards

I have a GF4 MX 440 in one of my systems and it is great(Fast as my GF3 I think). For someone on a budget, the MX is the way to go. If you can afford it, go for the 4400 or 4600.

Or if you can REALLY afford it, get the ATI Radeon 9700 Pro. :)
