Congrats on the promotion Grifter. Well deserved.

I take it the 201st flies JF-18? A2A or A2G? If I ever have any extra free time, I would gladly fly with you guys. I haven't flown JF18 for almost a year now, so I will need a quick refresher course.

See ya on the flight deck...

The Hunters are a strike fighter squadron - doing both. Here is the link to the "real steel" Hunters web site...

They are a VERY good unit...

Congrats Grif!

There is a new F-18 game roaming around in SIMM land. I am planning on checking it out Grifter and congrats on the promotion. IMHO I think we need to look at a alternate SIMM(not wanting to totally phase out Janes F/A-18. I am interested also in flying with the 201.

What game are you referring to? What are the system requirements? As most of us have JF18, the 201st will be sticking with this sim for a while longer.

thanks everyone!

I'm really happy and excited about the promotion. I am presently in the process of building missions for EF using JF18. So we should have a lot of fun with this sim in the near future.

Squabbles are avoided here

The main point is having fun. Orion, I don't think anyone will object to you retaining your old rank, I know I don't. Please feel free to come and fly when you can. We use Roger Wilco, you can d/l it on the downloads section of the site.

GOTCHA...I just checked out the forum for it on SIMHQ XICAT anyway. Well the screen shots looks alright, if I can find a demo it might save me some headache.
