I can see it now....the F-14 does a low flyby over the carrier, hook down, which catches a lasso suspended in the air...meanwhile, the man on his board is simultaneously catapulted down the deck, accelerating to the Tomcat's speed....ahhh yess....

I am going to be the sound mind and body here on this one for you guys. UMMMMMMMM remember even at near stall speed in the F-14 if you wiped out you will be feeding sharks for atleast a ten mile radius. Not to mention how in the hell will your body take that kind of force(the wind and not to mention the jet efflux), in that pic which I know is generated how in the heck can he even hold on or stay on the skies. I know I know, its just for fun but hey we were at the beach together and you guys wanted to do that all I would say to you is, I will definately wear red to your funeral.
