You don't notice any difference because you're hardly ever here.!!
Anyway, can't believe you were on the forums and never came up on Ventrilo to say 'hello' of all things.

A couple things to note:

1) Now there are even more forums for Kodiak to post in :)

2) I checked out the memberlist and sorted it by number of posts. 9 of the top 10 posters are WOF guys (out of 1000 members total) --- Kodiak is the top by almost 2 to 1.

3) Does anyone need to warn the ELH guys about these facts?

The look Raptor? how do you mean? Because my forums look pretty much like the old ones except there are more forum rooms now?

Ok, new forums seem cool....could'nt log in under my old name so I had to make a new one. Just want to make sure I'm seeing all that I can see:

Steel, is there a communications/server thread here that I'm not seeing yet? If not, you plan on putting one up?

the old ones looked pretty much the same. the differences were extremely subtle if you could tell at all - i looked at them before the merge to make sure. and they were not saved in a seperate directory, so i am not sure why they do not appear now as a selection.

Grif,
I can reset you old password to something else, then you can change it.

The colour scheme is different of course. The only other thing i notice is whilst typing up a post, you'll see the other posts from the thread, below in a somewhat larger font. :?

i don't see that - i see them below, but they are as they always have been.

i am not sure what color scheme you all are referring to. this looks the same as it always has, just as Grifter stated...

Hang on, I'm seeing HTML indicated as 'OFF' in my set-up. That might be something to do with it - lemme see.

Okay, I seem to have found my problem there - my forums colour scheme was defaulted to "darkside". So now I've changed that back, it looks okay to me again.

The only thing that i can see that might need changing depending on popular opinion of course is changing the Games sims section to be slit up between Flight and ground sims as the list is a bit long.

So Kodiak, now that you are at default color scheme, do you see any difference between the color scheme of this board and the old one?

Posted: 15 May 2005, 12:55
by KODIAK
No, the system seems to default to darkside, and I chose subsilver as I had before. I just went back into the porfile and as I hit submit after changing one word in my sig, it reverted to darkside again. So I have re-chosen subSilver and it is back to the colour scheme I was using before the merge.

So yes, it does indeed look the same as the old board???

Raptor,
Make sure your default style is subSilver...seems after the merge the board is setting darkside as default...

Yes, everything is fine this side now. And the "other posts" that show below as you type in your own new post is back to 'normal' fonts too. I didn't want to say it looked " the same as the old board" before this, because I was unsure whether or not subSilver was the default forum colour scheme for WOF (and I rem messing around with the colour schemes at some point), and I was unsure what scheme everyone else was using. I thought it could create confusion for anyone else experiencing problems too.
