First solo flight!

I solo'd today!! My IP and I flew up north to Kay Larkin airpark, and after 2 touch-and-go's and one full stop landing, he jumped out and let me at it! Sure, it was only 2 touch-and-go's and a full stop, but I was flying the plane by myself! I can't describe how fantastic and fun it was!

First solo is always a thrill! And I don't know anyone who can't recall exactly how things went - I managed a perfectly executed circuit followed by "one of the best landings I've ever watched" as described by my instructor. I was a total cucumber until I opened the canopy after shutting-down, just awesome!
