Here you go, check this out. I had one of these and sold it to Hulk. Though it doesn't hve the twist stick, it does have the D-Pad under your thumb. Check out the links at the bottom of the page for other reviews.

I have one Thrustmaster Top Gun.
http://www.thrustmaster.com/
Best stick I've owned. Has a rudder bar on the throttle, which is excellent for controlling torso twists. Has 8 buttons.

Oooooo, that Tactical board....
Me Likeeeee.
Yeah the Top Gun would be good too, but then I've always sung the praises of HOTAS w/ Pedals. Stick with somethin, you're familiar with. That cuts down on your learning curve. Then there's only those new stiff springs to contend with, right Slam?

I use the Thrustmaster 'Top Gun Afterburner II' I looked at the Cougar then saw the price!!!! I do not use pedals, never thought about them! The rudder bar on the ABII throttle is outstanding for controlling the torso twist. I get more control than I did with my old stick.

My Afterburner I was silver and had a flip up cover over a button on the joystick. My Afterburner II is black with no cover over the button and thats about all the diff I can tell. XP recognises the stick so I don't even use the T/Master software.

The Exterminator is basically a fairly nice stick, with a better game pad tacked on to the side of it. D-Pad is what they calls them litle round directional thingies on a game pad. This one is actually a Jstick type gimbal set up. It works great for torso. I just sold mine to Hulk, because I picked up my analog CH flight rig.

You might want to look at a cyborg gold...(Saitek) They have gotten good reviews...
I JUST purchased an X-45 set - on the contrary I have heard NOTHING bad about them...which is why I purchased the set. I will be adding a set of pedals later (most of you know I do flight sims as well).
I also have a M$ Force Feedback 2, and I actually like it a lot. It is just not a true HOTAS setup... It has the twist for rudder, as well as a slider for throttle.

well im not sure how big your hand is DH (ok no rude sexual jokes here) ( DOH guilty by implication i guess lol) the saitek cyborg 3d stick i got seems like a realy good stick, it had a nice config program and all. the trigger realy isnt as flimsy as it seams and it has tons of adjustments. its both right and left handed. and it can be adjusted to actualy fit my wifes hands (she has tiny ones) or when i adjust it all the way out it was way larger then my own. now sure this sounds like a great reveiw of that stick, BUT! i find the stick to have way too much movement in it. no, not sloppy, just that i have to move the stick around far more then the microsoft counterparts i currently use. i also found i had to twist the handle alot farther to get the same effect per the MS stick. all in all my reaction time was alot slower and my hand and arm got tired far quicker useing the cyborg 3d. if im not mistaken the gold is off the same desighn. anyhow just my experiance with my sticks

~~> Is starting to wonder what Cam's chair will be called , sounds like you might as well go full out and build a cockpit around it with some side screens and switches. Then it would be a good idea to add your sound blaster speakers in there as well for that surround sound effect heh, take a picture of the chair when done so we all can see it
