The PPC now give the right amount of damage
So Ob can now drive that Awsome of his. The jump bug is no longer, and the LRMs do good damage now. A Raven with Bap, ECM and IFF jammer...is a bad son of a gun..you can't even get a red reticale on it from ten feet away....I will be getting the mech pak later this mornning.

I did have serious lag on two games I played. On others it seemed to have gone.

I've heard ALOT of griping on Gamespy regarding INCREASED lag.
Which is ironic when you consider patch was supposed to REDUCE lag.

M$!

Grumble mumble MLL gripe bitch moan Glory Holes nag complain

I have noticed lag...i would be playing ok then everibody starts running in circles(meaning i lagged out) then im dead, the worst about it?...it happens right when you are about to exchange fire with somebody(of course he wins the exchange). Other than that...hmmm...i really like the Hunchback and the Dragon!!.

Well, Mince and I picked it up yesterday, and I'M STILL TRYING to dubug it. Uninstalled and re-installed umpteen times, still locks up on me.
Must be time for a format if I'm installin a new M$ game.
Typical.

Having played the patch some more I have noticed the lag is much higher in games with the mechs from the pack involved. I have played several where none of the new mechs have been present and the lag was standard. M$ strike again?

maybe because the fact that the info for the new mechs is in the pak, and not the patch means that there will b problems when ppl try to use the 2 in the same game...once every1 has the pak, i think the lag problem will b solved

Great stuff, effectively MW4 and BK are now completely out of bounds for Euro bods if you are wanting to join a zonematch server. Any that are 'white' (and there is VERY few) are either completely empty or has 1 player and a load of bots. Unless we have hosted games it looks like GR is going to be getting a good airing until the mech paks come out (and even then i am not convinced that will solve the problem).

Anyone have any problems with the patch on the Inner Sphere pack CD? I got an 0036 error, something like the file it was looking to replace was't there or the right file size. Also said something that it could happen when patching a Swedish version but that's not my situation. Should I download the file from MS and try that one, possibly the one on the CD isn't so good?

Hmmm..now when I try tojsut start MW4 Veangeance, I get a DLL error. Anyon else have this problem with the US version? What am I looking at, a reinstall?

I had the same error message. I had to re install MW and BK to get it to install. I believe Ronin also had the same problem.

Thanks everyone, esp. Ob. I had a feeling that a full reinstall was in order. I guess my problem is with the HUD Patch. I do have a bunch of custom maps & some custom missions but I don't know if that would be a problem or not. I guess I will try sitting down tomorrow and trying the process. I assume with the patch 3 that you don't have to use the previous patches.

Well it looks like the misery for the 151 will end on July 26th. That's the alleged date of release for both mech packs! So hopefully no more lag measured in minutes (only a slight exaggeration) and Moosie can stop plotting the destruction of M$. On second thoughts, Moose, please do plot the downfall of the Evil Empire

The plotting phase has ended....phase 2 has been initiated....i hope that no one is too attatched to M$

Hey folks,

I am about to do a complete unistall/reinstall of MW4 and BK and I wanted to ask for any advice. Folks have recommended a reinstall if the game won't run after installing the pack. I was about to do this but wanted to see if anyone could share any experience with this process, like which folders to backup & the like. If I recall, you need to put the "variantsx" folder in MW4 so BK can use the Mechs. But I was wondering if say one should save the maps, or just reinstall it all. Basically, hoping someone might have an idea of what to do & what sequence (if it really matters). Just don't want to try it and show up to practice, only to find out I missed something. Thanks for any suggestions.
