I suppose the list to the right must be for user management or members only cuz , it's not working for me.~~> Quote Code List List= Img* URL

I've found an E-mail program called Incredimail at ZDnet.com that converts Outlook Express to allow you to send antimated happy faces through your e-mail among other things like back grounds. Now I've found a way to copy and paste all the Smiley faces from here and add them to my Incredimail with a simple right click of the mouse. But Adding Smiley faces to this chat room is beyond me . I've seen it done before awhile back when Malin came in and posted some. If I could do the same these days , then that would be cool , Especially if the animations were not restricted to just faces. I've seen loads of Antimated MW4 mechs that would look sweet at the end of a forum post. I would bring them here if i knew how to paste an IMG , err ...or is this option for members only ?

I believe placing img's on the Forum is an option open only to Steel.

Ok, I give away one of my secrets: http://smil.hotbox.ru/sm01.html

Pick the one you want and just copy the script by the side of it into your post

Yes, you can "add" graphics, etc. to your posts on an individual basis if you have a place to source them from... Alternativley, you can e-mail the actual files to me and I can add them to the forum itself... Hmmm....maybe I should make Lancer and admin too so he can do some! :D

I'd rather not mate Image

IMHO I would hate for this last bastion of decorum to go the way of other Forums. Avatars and animated pics everyplace. You see huge pics, which you have seen a dozen times before, downloading to announce a three word reply. Plus I thought we were all ELH, so the avatar will be the ELH badge surely! I can partly understand the use of avatars and the like on public forums but in our own house?

Lancer is correct, using avatars in league fourms or community fourms like DSC or Bad Karma is ok...but we all know each other ..and well I like informal way our forums are sturctured..those big graphic intense sigs really are not needed. :D

K guys, really I was referring to the graphics files for the smilies...nothing else. I am pretty sure that is what Falker asked about. But they would need to be the same size as the rest of the smilies...

I have not enabled the upload avatars capability because of the extra horsepower and bandwidth needed for them, and other reasons stated above.

Aye im not fond of the large avatars either. I' m currently working on a way to post a few of the walking mechs here that I found the other day. I added them to a site @ http://www.anycities.com/user/falker/index.htm I'm still stuck figuring out how to link them in here. So far no luck as of yet. I thought that maybe I'd need to shrink them first but even the smaller smilies wont link in here. The linked gifs work for the other site that Malin posted previously but damn if i can get it to work with my site. Your welcome to grab them from the site if you want. Might be easier for Steel to shrink them and add the preferred ones to the list. Then you could be the first to have an animated mech sprucing up your post

Below is a link I broke up to show the address for the yellow spider 540.gif , below them are gif with links to my site. I got a few more gifs to add to my site and should be done shortly. Other then that I found some Excellent Battle Tech pictures thats a must see. Lots of eye candy for Lancer who might want to copy a few @ http://www.hyperaviator.com/Battletech.htm

Aye , I was using that as an example to show others who might not know about how pasting animated smiles links work. I thought maybe someone could figure out where I was going wrong. Maybe it's the (www) after the (http:/ ) thats not working out. Im really not sure. Thats the only difference between the links that I see besides the home address.

Again here's the link to the other web site that works , I'll separate the Image okay theres the Yellow crab thingy that wont work and THIS is the link to it with the Image Just place the link together and the yellow crab 540.gif will appear in your forum. Right click on the crab / spider thingy and go to properties. It will tell you information about the Crab/Spider Smiley and also show you the link to it.

Okay , I've placed some gifs from my home page here and have had no luck with them coming out UNLESS I open up another Web Browser to my site at the same time. ( I'm using Internet Explorer) Maybe it looks different on Netscape ? I dunno , I quit using Netscape after they switched to 6.0.

Here is the animated link from my site I wish would appear here. Again , I seperated the Image
