thanks what am I chop livver. I was the one trying to get a mini web site set up ehhehehe.
Well man there are web sites with minies peinted on it showing the paint sceams per diffrent units. For example I got one lance painted in 10th larynal guard and starting a ELH lance.
Now as per mecks. Wel what time line, there is whats called random meck tables for diffrent parts in the time line which tell you what units had of each meck and how rear thaose mecks where. Would be the best place to start. Figure out what unit paint job then figure out the mecks for that unit
below is web sites with mini paint jobs
http://www.lordsofthebattlefield.com/gallery-mini.htm
i can't fin the other one that breaks down everyhting into specific units , Buff can u help out and buff can u post that web sitre with all the tips on paintsin. Its at my home pc.
Also for buying minies ther eis a dam good web site for that to. Again Buff honod I don't rember the exact www for it so please post. Dam this beer soaked brain just don't work that good

I think the question was, which 'Mechs just scream ELH. Even before they are painted. I just recall the Orion figured predominatly in the ELH artwork on Sarna.net.

The Warhammer is a great model, if you are talking the Ral Partha, and the Marauder is excellent but does require some skill to put together. Watch out for the parts getting super glued to your nose

it would be advisable to avoid your medication first Lancer. A few pints of BH's finest and 2 doses of 'what the doctor ordered' is not the best condition to be constructing miniatures in

Mar......do you want to do a 3025 era lance or a more "modern" lance. See the problem is if you want to do 3025...a lot of them are the law suit mechs and are expensive when you can find them. I cant get to my books but I have some moderen ELH random unit tables at home, not sure when I can get back and get that to ya.
