Ok been playing both games for the past couple of days and i am amazed at how entertaining MW2 was and how full of potential Mw3 was.
Why play those old games?..heck i dont know just found the cd's laying around and decided to install them...oh how sweet that message at the begining of each mission in MW2..."Reactor online...sensors online...weapons online...all systems nominal"...even after all these years it just pumps me up for the mission.
On the other hand MW3 could have been great...at least the grafics were awesome(IMO) but things like 100 ton mechs bumping with each other and no damage, getting stuck on a small step!! and things like that put it down...if only MW4 had MW3 grafics with the damage models on mechs as you hit them.
Anyway it was nice to play both again in single player and remeber the multy player things like netmech95, writing down ip addys befero each drop, lag shooting in MW2 and the incredibly anying Shadow Cats in MW3 that were imposible to target because of the horredous lag.
If any of you still have those games you might want to try them again...i had a great time the past couple of days.
