Errrr, correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Mechcommander die out because it would only work with DirectX 6 and just crashed with any other version of DirectX.
Or did M$ finally get off there butt and produce a fix for it?

I have MCG but I've looked around and can't see anywhere to get the patches from so could you post a link?

Well I pulled out my old Mechcommander disc at the weekend and stuck it in the drive and started the install. 22% PC freeze up. Tried again no joy, took the disc out and 
yup you guessed it a little pinhole a third of the way into the disc.
Guess that counts me out of MC.

With all the newer games out today , I doubt that I'll ever get around to playing it again.
