Thanks for keeping us posted, even if it was bad news. I too fear the X-Box direction, or maybe they are planning a major switch to a Dark Age angle?

if they do, i will find them, hurt them severely, and then probably kill them, in a variety of painful and interesting ways

i dont know what the big deal is... if they are haven a such a big deal why dont they just make a online only version or something for us league players and we will make our own freaken story line, i just hate to think that the mw series is left with the mw4 engine... hell for that matter why dont they just make mech assualt for PC with some twists and slap a freaken lable on it and see what happens. all i know is i wont buy an Xbox and suscribe to some other BS MS thing. mw3 was fine except for the total lack of support by micropose and MS. and the fact they couldnt figure out how to fix the damn thing to save their butts. i mean seriously of all the lables out there maken online games and stuff, why is it mechwarrior is the hardest one to get to work like it should? i was realy hopen that microsoft would pull the big D (disapointment) out of their a--es and actualy create something decent for a change. damn its hard to see something you love go to crap....

Yeah BlackHawk, I agree with you. Console games are just a waste of time for me the only one I could finish was Rogue Squadron For N64 and that was a disappointment.

This seems to have more to do with M$ not selling as many (read World Domination) of the X-box as they would like. Supposedly it only makes up 10% of the world market with the exclusion of the US and Bill don't like that. This has lead to M$ throwing their weight around software houses and 'forcing' them to release to X-box before the PC.

This stuff comes from several UK PC mags.

well what i havnt figured out yet.... is why havnt they changed their name to mega$oft? i mean realy it would fit the ego and mentality perfectly... oh.. unless it has something to do with the consideration of those they are trying to sell products to... then micro fits fine. all i know as time goes on i am beggining to wish i was a UNIX genious or something...

On an interesting side note, I read that they are going to continue developement on MW4. Mech Paks? Mercs expansions? M$ realizes that they have a cash cow in the MW franchise, so be expecting SOMETHING. I just hope they do something quick, before I cancel my broadband.
I'm back online as of last night BTW. Where was everybody? I got on about 10PM central and only Stache was in Comms. Didn't mean to seem rude Stache, but I haven't found my headset yet, and I couldn't send text messages for some reason. So I just checked mail and went to bed.

We NEED more mechs - desperately! Especially MEDIUM mechs (Phoenix Hawk, Starslayer, Grim Reaper). We could also use a few more Lights and even some Heavies - heck, there SHOULD be *at least* one IS and one Clan chassis for EACH tonnage. although more than one for each would be infinitely preferable. I'm tremendously BORED with the handful of mechs we have now (which is one of the reasons I have almost 450 variants).

A few more weapons would be nice, too - ER energy weapons and Streak SRMs for the IS, Heavy Lasers for the Clans. Or at least FIX the dang IS SRMs so they will work with NARC like they are SUPPOSED TO.

It would be NICE if new mechs/weapons/equipment could be made available for download (as opposed to Mech Packs). And no more of that ferkdingblast C_Dilla crap!

I’d even like to climb in an Elemental suit. See if I could rip into the cockpit of some of these big pigs on the battle field. That’s just wishful thinking tho.
