Thanks for sharing those, they are quite amazing clips. I've been a a WWII aviation buff for over 20 years, and I was very happy to see IL-2 come out & concentrate on the eastern theatre. I bought IL-2 some time ago but between the trouble I had with my joystick, and the latest patch at that time, plus my time with ELH, I just never played it more than for a few tutorials. I did read the IL-2 web site forums for awhile hoping to pick up some tips, but I saw such a high concentration of "experts" that I figured I'd never have a chance in multiplayer games or even making a squadron. At least back then, it seemed most of the experts were pretty tough on any newbies who asked for much help or had trouble with the patch of the time. Do you have Forgotten Battles? Is it as good as the previews I've read?
