MegaMek 28.13 bug

There seems to be some kinda bug in MM28.13 - I've had three Me vs Bot games screw up. No amount of restarting/reconnecting will get them to proceed beyond a certain point. The Bot team always freezes up when the last Bot mech tries to fire (this of course well into the game).
I played the ELHvsNooB scenario today in MM28.12 and was able to play it all the way through.
Anybody else have any problems with MM28.13?
One other odd thing I've noticed about the last three or so versions of MegaMek (and I'm not the only one): certain mechs are 'invisible' when I play in Linux. I can see the little green armor/internal bars, and the name of the mech, but not the mech itself. I can't find anything wrong with the gif files, although I did notice that all the 'invisible' mechs have RED as the transparent color. So far I haven't seen any 'invisible' mechs when I play in WinME. Heh, well, you know what I mean. :roll:
