I wa a little luckier than that I managed 5 whole days at home with my daughter when she was born, I was on Tour R&R at the time - I have to say i was glad when the doctor decided that baby HAD to arrive asap and was in the theatre for the whole party. And then it was off back to the sunny balkans for another two months of well you know what!
I feel for ya man, it's a helluva sacrifice to make at such a critical time, but your professional attitude is what makes you what you are,and why many are proud of people like you. Hope you truely enjoy your time off when you get it - congratulations!
