Just an update all.
Well, so far ive 'tested' this application on Planetside and Mechwarrior 4 Mercs. This is what i found at this point. first off, it seems that it did crash mercs when i first turned the application on. or maybe it was just MY mercs that likes to crash in such a manner not sure yet. What i found was when i first turned it on the overlay wasnt working. so i alt tabed out and turned on the application then i crashed. i restarted the game and low and behold it worked. i played for a few and it still worked and i didnt see any lag difference to the game at all on my end.
While useing the application on Planetside, it shows all kinds of info about frame rate etc. this i did not find on Mechwarrior. the only thing that worked in mechwarrior was the Name showed up in green when someone spoke on Teamspeak. One time i left this application on and found it also worked in need for speed, Hot pursuit 2. so it has far reaching uses in games.
Remember this software is in Alpha stage. it is just built to see if it works. there are no options to this software... if its been this sucessfull it may be a very good application once its done with the beta process and is finaly released.

Another reason TS is a downer when it come to playing MW4 Mercenaries…
Sometime it works okay , and other times it would crash my game. I know this after I experienced it when I started lagging out before or during a game , and then dropped TS to see what happened. Then every thing was just fine after that.. I also couldn’t join a game a few times until I dropped TS. It works okay for some folks for some reason or another , or there aren’t enough pilots speaking up about it. I think B-Com was giving better results during game play. Only draw back on that was I would usually hear an eco and have a hot mic all the time.
I also get the feeling that some people on the net are not compatible with packet sharing unless they have a real clean connection. TS is good for BS’ing around before the game but needs to be shut down before the team drops. This might decrease the chances of good pilots getting kicked before or during a game. That , and besides it's not really professional military conversation or orders being spoken during a game anyway. And wouldn’t you feel more confident in your Mech if had been. If it’s not being spoken in military fashion its just more BS’ing during the game which something you can do with out.

An alternative point of view on TS.
The 151 use TS exclusively now and host two servers. I've not seen any problems in GR, Neverwinter, LoMAC, MW, Far Cry, Ravenshield and IL2. I'll grant that in game the 151 comms are pretty tight and we have spent a fair bit of time getting our server/client settings correct. Most peoepls problems with TS seem to come from not bothering to set their settings and options correctly. Another fault lies in the fact that people have the Codec set to the max. We have found that a GSM of 14.8Kbit works well for us. Reducing the Codec settng at the server can make a world of difference for lag. As for BCom, TS has a setting of CELP 5.1Kbit which emulates BCom.

No, not American English, or UK English, or whatever the hell it was that Glas speaks, but Monosylabic English.
