Fishing

Went fishing at Corona Lake today. It’s a privately owned lake that cost $20 Per person to get in. They stock it with veteran trout that average between 1 ½ to 15 lbs. I’ve seen allot of Lightning Trout and some Rainbow Trout being caught left and right down from where we were fishing from . It was on the other side of the boat launch dock about 50 yards down from where me and my older bro were getting nibbles or a hit every now and then.
Them guys……. Every time they caught a two to five pounder they would be saying , HEYYYyyyyy ! My god , I heard or saw them bringing in a Good 2 to 3 pounder every 5 to 10 minutes , every time … HEYYYYYYYyyyyy ! They were passing beers back and forth and having a grand time. Finally a few hours went by and a guy down from them on the other embankment caught a Good size 12 pounder , and several people over on that side were Screaming HEYEEEYYYYYYYYyyyyyeee. “ Like back at cha “ I was like ,… Gasp
Me and my bro got a few good hits. But the good fight would only last for about 5 seconds before our line got snagged and snapped. After several hours of that we were saying “ There must be some Chain Linked fence out there ! “ LOL , Oh Man .. All I know is , after about 6 hours of piping hot Sun blazing down on me with high winds to boot , and them idiots down the way catching way more then their 5 fish limit Shouting HEYEEYYYYYyyy !! It was starting to make me sick.
So , the next time I get up at 4:00 am in the morning to go fishing down there , I’ll be sure to grab that hot spot. And there will be a next time so I can get My Heyyy's in too.
I did some pier fishing a few times , weeks ago ( since I bought it up the last time ) out at the coast. Only caught Bait fish tho. Jig for Bait fish and then slice them up for bottom fishing. It was over cast both days I went and the tide wasn’t quiet right at the time. I’ll head back down to the pier again when the tide is right , the sun is piping hot the Babes are out.
