I've been working on a module for low level PCs (I managed to get a Paladin from 1st to 4th level going through the whole thing, with a Bard for a Henchman). So far it takes a couple of hours or so to play through all the quests. Maybe in another week or two it will be ready for a real test run, if anybody's interested. I'm not sure, tho, if it's compatible with pre-HoTU versions of NWN.

ps: Was Bullseye the crossdresser?

As I said, I'll never tell but as its NWN here a few clues to solve the level

1. His first name rhymes with bad.
2. His second name is a legendary beast that could breath fire and fly
3. His home is in the land of the Vikings.

in a recent socio-economic study, areas north of Leicestershire, plus Scotland and Wales were classified as 'The North'. Areas south of Leicestershire were classed as 'The South'. Therefore, i can be classed neither as Northern, or Southern, so therefore am proven to be a Midlander.....and i never spank the monkey....i have someone to do it for me :)

To any of our American comrades that maybe confused at the line this thread has taken I would like to offer a simple explaination.

England is divided into 4 areas. The North, the Midlands, the South and the West Country. The actual line of these areas is a little hazy but the natives know the rules. Inhabitants of each group consider themselves as "Gods children" and of a higher social and intellectual level than the neanderthals that live in the other areas.

I'm sure you gentlemen can see parallels in America

So, having said that, can you two Northern monkeys let Tach have his NWN thread back :P

Heh, don't mind me. I just spent something like 16 hours trying to get one particular (non-critical) PC/NPC conversation (including the accompanying events and effects) to work as I intended. Finally got it, tho. Now I can get back to placing waypoints for the 419 Red Dragons and 3,999,233.5 Orc ballerinas.

yea i got NWN too, never played it online though much. used to play with some stuff Warcry made up for it though. wounder if that guy is still around. heard he was headed to school. anyhow, i could install it again and stuff but i dont have any expainsion packs. i am thinking about getting back into my old games and see how they feel some, yup you guessed it, mechwarrior, GR ( if i can get all the stuff to play with you guys) and stuff like that. mostly im getting into wood carving at the home front, working on a cedar staff right now :P playing with the kids and stuff. i got my subscription to planetside back, but i have a hard time playing it. i miss the lot of you in games i think is the main reason. playing with the 151 on the european server is a blast, but its hard for me to meet up with them sometimes and can only play a few hours before they nod off at the keybard and drive the tank into a rock or tree ;)

i posted a thread about games we are playing currently to see if there was any compatabilites we could all hook up with or something, but so far not a great responce on it.

Also, how about we modify the forums some about different games etc? that way ppl can see whats new on different games etc. just some ideas.

Tach, tell me what i need to get going with NWN and will do what i can.

I've got NWN Gold and Hordes of the Underdark installed with the latest patch, so I'm running v1.62. Unfortunately, it appears that this this crazy module I'm building will only work with v1.62. Dunno about multiplayer in general. I've never played NWN online.

Our MP experience of NWN led us to believe that it was great for 2 people playing but numbers over that and the way the exp and treasure was divided up became hard to control. It would be great if the exp was divided automatically between a team ala Planetside but, alas, its not the case in NWN. It's the main reason the game slid off the charts in the 151.

Did you guys play with a DM running the game, or did you play on a 'persistent world' server?
