hey guys lets start a thread here related to everything MW4 Mercs: HC here so we all know where to look, we got this nice header and stuff might as well use it.

we can use this area for all information, plus getting together etc. i wouldnt mind trying to pilot a mech again.

question regarding HC beta installs. do you have to have fresh mw installs each time ( meaning installs where you got PR1 mektek stuff etc.) or can you install over an older HC install? i tried the latest pack, but for some reason it wont work. however i have a previous version of HC installed. please explain how this works hehe.

The most recent HCs are built to work with MP2.1a, so make sure ya got that installed.

HC so far installs on top of the previous HC install. If you have no previous HC install, just get the latest version. Be sure when installing to unzip the zip file into it's own separate folder and run the install file from there.

im haveing a problem here with updating my HC files.... it says my MW4 core file is unknown.

this is the fresh install, that i installed HCB2-110904 files in.

PLEASE dont tell me i got to start this whole mess over again in order to install the latest HC stuff.

its is practicly a brand spanken new install. and it worked fine yesterday. ive DLed and tried to install the next stage up from what i have installed but it wont let me install either. so im at a loss if this can be installed on top of older versions.

Please disregard my idiotic last post ...... i have now classified myself as one of those 'who does not follow instructions well'.

of course if i would of registered the fact i needed MP2.1a then all my problems would of been avoided

my problem was i didnt updated to 2.1a and just had 2.1 so it just installed and all is well within the universe once more...
