Have to say the weather is being very strange here at the moment too - normally we would be shivering in temperatures of -20s to -30s (Celcius), but until last week we were about 16 during the day falling to maybe 4 or 5 overnight - well the cold front has finally won over and in the space of 24 hours we were seeing temps of -20 to -25. Strangely too we have only seen two falls of snow since the winter's start and neither have been terribly impressive! We ARE expecting a large fall anytime soon too, so if it can snow in Texas............

Nice to see that you folks get a little snow now and then. Glad you can enjoy it. We get a lot of it here of course. Not as much as NH or Maine though.

Its snowing in Texas? Hey, maybe my friend Vicky stationed at Ft. Houston got some snow, awesome. It snowed for two days straight in Maryland right before I left, and its darn cold here in Daytona Beach. High-40's by day, low 40's by night. I was shivering in the cold doing my preflight today! And the 172SP heater has two settings at 3000': Arctic cold, and Saharan summer!

Viper: you in NH? Man I hear you. Karen and I were up there for vacation a couple weeks back when you folks had that crazy storm. We loved the snow, but I know from living in the Berkshires how terrible snow can really be. Great to visit, hate to live in it.
