My Home Course

This is mainly aimed at Grifter, and anyone else who plays golf or has taken it up recently. I found the website for my home course where I was a member until I left to join-up. They wouldn't grant me a 'house' membership and so I reluctantly gave up my membership rights. The view, as described, is from the 9th tee. Our house is down off to the right about one mile, so the view from my bedroom is essentially just what you see here:

I need to try golf some day. I may end up liking it. Can lefties be any good at golf? I assume they make left-handed golfclubs?

Come to Canada, where everyone is a leftie mate!!
Left-handed clubs are probably easier to get you hands on in some respects, especially at beginner level where just about anything is good enough. It has nothing to do with being a leftie as to how good you'll be at golf. It is simply a case of statisitcs, more people are righthanded. And as you narrow the search to sport, to golf, to good golfers, to professionals, to successful professionals - well, the odds drop away quite quickly really. So don't think just cos you is a leftie, you ain't no good!
