What’s Up Brother !
I was just starting to get worried about you man.
I was going to wait until Fethr or yourself came back until I advanced with another post cuz I’d feel lost without you guys. But that’s kind of hard to do once I get going with this and TD “ has “ been keeping me company . That’s cool. TD is a posting machine. Heh. Besides I got to have somebody to talk to even if their just listening. With the way Steel has worked this out , it’s actually rather nice to post up in a forum where you can have a reply on your post within the same day instead of waiting for awhile or so to get a response. That way people don’t feel like there talking to themselves as I was. Thanks to Steel , there are other fellow posters here that have much in common with our old ELH forum. Like Sci Fi movies for example. Everybody likes them and has something to say about it. So okay enough with the madness, If you guys keep posting , then So will I..
I’m still looking through all them boxes for my old pw. I think I might have left it behind. Don’t sweat it. If I cant find it then I’ll come back in as many different names as it takes to throw up a post every now and then. I’m not worried about getting the most posts here , or showing the next generation just how long I’ve been around. I see Kodiak has taken up the advantage on a few fronts.
Hey Kodi !
He’s cool.
Lancer …. “ Finally “ came back and threw up a few post. Man ! Crazy old chap. I miss that guy… sniff sniff
Alrighty Bro ! , Good luck with that saturn upgrade. I’ll be around.
Regards Falker
Oh btw….
Ahh never mind…

It’s about time your got your butt in here to throw down a post.
::::: Passes A Cold Bud Light To Warcry:::::
I’ll haft to get back to you on most of that questionnaire . “ Oh Wait a second ……. Okay this is an easy one. “ I choose either H or I or J . Cuz their should be more in there like , “ What games would I like to play. “ “ And what was Fantasy Island like. “
For Now I was seriously thinking about buying Star Wars Galaxies because it’s on sale at BestBuy. I’ll need to find out about what other popular games are out there and have look into it.
For now I’ve been reading Sci Fi books and watching TV at the same time with the volume turned down . It’s amazing how therapeutic reading books is when there’s nothing else to do but go bonkers.

I'm not sure, but I believe if Stephen King had been in the room when I finished that last DT book, I might have stood up and slapped the excrement out of him.

What i meant by tying it all togather is by the additions of the Flag charector and also how the talisman ties into it as well. it seems if you read enough of his strange books you start seeing how all the evil stuff in his universe revolves around the crimson king. ( of course he does go by other names.)

i do have to agree. after all the crap roland went threw. i thought the ending was a bit mean lol.

uu-oooohhh beeeer!!!
we'll i've been playing guild wars lately. i uninstalled star wars battlefront because i played it too much. i also uninstalled mechwarrior mercenaries (takes cover from possible stoning) because of the same reason and i keep having to fix my sidewinder joystick -- i don't think microsoft thought the stick would be abused by the likes of me. when i shoot in mid-air the crosshairs jitters and miss the part i aimed at. very frustrating!! i have rejected the possibility that my aim is not what it used to be... lol

wow - lots of folks coming out of the woodwork. good to hear from everyone again!
War - you need to hook up with the other folks playing Guild Wars. They are on pretty much every night!
Also, one of the WOF guys - Grifter - just got himself a new Sidewinder joystick - cheap. His was messed up like yours. Send him a PM or just make a post in the General or WOF General forum and ask...

Got That Right
Hey BH ,
If you really like Sci Fi and have a good imagination for it ….
( And if I’m reading you right.. )
I suggest you read the book called Enders Game . It was written by Orson Scott Card
It achieved the Hugo and Nova award all in one book.
It’s an older book , but it’s the only book I’ve read within a weeks time because I couldn’t put it down . The main character is unbelievably familiar in a way.
New York Times
Intense is the word for Ender's Game. Aliens have attacked Earth twice and almost destroyed the human species. To make sure humans win the next encounter, the world government has taken to breeding military geniuses -- and then training them in the arts of war... The early training, not surprisingly, takes the form of 'games'... Ender Wiggin is a genius among geniuses; he wins all the games... He is smart enough to know that time is running out. But is he smart enough to save the planet?
The sequel to Enders game is lengthy and not as interesting.
Another good one was ,
Warstrider By William H. Keith Jr. This guy has a knack for realistic military gossip. He also started the Bolo series with a book called Bolo Brigade , and has written a few MW books to boot.
Oh and Yeah , Steven King Must Have some kind of demented mind with lots of sweaty nightmares to come up with his ideas. My Older Brother and Oldest Sister took a liking to his books. ( I also like his movies ) They went out and got the big hard backs , hehe , I guess those books might have real meaning in there life’s. Maybe they’ll be worth a small fortune someday.
I heard he got run over ( hit - n - run driver) in the state of Washington one day as he was walking down the road and was Seriously injured. That is , It might have been a hit and run from the way I heard the story. I think he wrote a book about that and added some flavor to it. I'm just speculating , but maybe his book Misery came to mind out of all that misery he went through in his recovery.
Anyway , if you have a scary book I should read , like something without the bloodshed and demon ghost. ( Pet cemetery was good. ) Then share it.

Ive read enders game and a few books along that series.. it was defently a good read.
ive atualy gotten a kick reading Greg Bear he touches on alot of different styles of books. some realy sci fi. and some fantasy.
The Mars books by Kim Stanley Robinson was a very good read for the sci fi minded. they seemed fairly technical but the plots were good.
now one of my all time faverate authers of sci fi. :::drum roll::: was Peter F. hamiloton. Especialy the reality dysfunction series of books. and i espcialy enjoyed naked god. If you realy want to wet your whistle in a good sci fi pick up some of his books!
( BTW my Planetside charector is named after a living space fighter from his book 'VoidHawk'. )
anyhow thats my two cents.

i was looking through the guild wars forum to check who plays the game. i don't really know those guys. i can't just ask those guys to let me join their party.
and, my sidewinder is an older version (9 pushbuttons vs. 8 for the new ones). i think it's just ready to die.

i just buy 1-2 games a year. the game has to really scream at me before i even buy it. bought unreal tournament 2004 but gave it away since i get really bad motion sickness playing it. i almost puked at the school lab playing it. i can only play it 4 times tops. had the same problem with half-life 2.
the first time i found out i get motion sickness was when i piloted a cougar in big city. i had to quit the game and lie down for an hour. i never piloted really small mechs in city maps ever again.

you might check e-bay to see if you can find any 9 button sidewinders...

Of course not! First, you must know the super secret password! Which is 'heyguyswhereareyaandwhatdistrict?' But don't tell anybody, it's super secret!
We generally play in the evenings from around 5 PM until around 11 pm EST, although sometimes Mr Crick and I play earlier, and Buff has been known to keep going until 4 am EST.
If you're not already in a Guild, you're welcome to join ours. We don't have a guild hall, tho, and haven't done any PVP; we just wanted capes.
