Nemisis touched on this subject with his own little project, just thought you'd all enjoy seeing this:

I don't know if he ever finished, but Hades was working on a P-47 Model aircraft about a year ago. I'll see if I can get in touch with him to see if he ever finished it.

Kodiak replies to the thread about a month after the last post... His title is appropriate.

Well here is an picture of my New RC model plane that i bought a couple of weeks ago and which flew for the first time this weekend!
I have joined a RC model aircraft club that is just 5 mins drive from me and will be flying most weekends. My model Spitfire is still in the process of being built but i need to get practice flying with my new trainer before i try and take the spit up anyway.
Sorry i have not been OL lately but i am standing in for my boss at work for the last 4 weeks and i just feel shattered when i get home and want to go to bed but hopefully this will not be for to much longer and i will be able to get back in the air with you guys soon. I have hardly been on my PC for the past month and have not clocked up 1 minute of flying time, so i can't wait to get back on here ASAP.
By the way the model has a 5 foot wing span and runs on a .46Cu glow engine (very powerful for it's size).
See you guys soon i hope.

All you had to do was ask matey! I was aware of his work commitments, and had spoken with him briefly more recently, so knew everything was cool.

Just working my way through the various tutorials to get a decent amount of familiarity before embarking on a campaign.
