The upgrades on the wep is a new precision innerbarrel and a systema hopup.
he also told me that the mechabox is as new since when he bought the wep he bought a new upgraded and put that in instead so the original mechabox hasent been used mutch

with the upgrades probably worth it then if you know it functions properly. you will have squat for fps out of a stock mechbox though, and watch out for anything wrong with it as the guns are easy to mes up if you do not know what you are doing (it seems you friend replaced the mech box?)...

The mech box is the original when he bought the wep he bought a new mechbox and alot trims, now he put the original stuff back in the wep so some stuff are as good as new

Hades,
I am not saying anything about the newness...that is good. I am talking about people working on the guns... It is VERY easy to mess stuff up.
Also, you will want to upgrade it to get any kind of useability out of it...

Goodpoint steel sorry that i misunderstod you,
he told me now that the gun is now instabil (spelling) he need new parts...
he dont want me to buy it since hes not sure how well the gun works.
So the options for me is between a Tokyo marui M4a1 or a M-16a2
both the weps costs the same around 300$ and they are brand new so i dont need to worry about it to be instabil.
the only problem left is that i just cant decide between those two weaponds and its driving me crazy
one minute i just want the m-16 and the other minute i want the m4a1 lol

I am stuck a little as to what exactly to buy. I really like the idea of the TM M4A1 RIS, but have read that there are other more solid versions of the M4 (i.e. metal-bodied weapons). I'd also really like to see the H&K USC Carbine introduced if it isn't already done - it could be made in a modular design and be capable of removal of the barrel to be replaced by a shorter length silencer unit to turn it into the UMP .45 SD for CQB work maybe. Does anyone know of anywhere they already do this weapon? There is also the option of the SA80 L85A1 - I can simply "aquire" accessories from normal sources. Who knows what you can put together when you work in that environment!!
I'd really like to hear everyone's views as far as personal choices is concerned; what they would buy given they had the money to do so and why.

L85 - not so sure I would go with that... It is old technology as far as airsoft goes and difficult to upgrade. Kodiak, your ability to accessorize it is a plus though.
I am pretty sure there is no USC carbine...you can wait for one if you want...
If you think you need a weapon to come down in March, that is not true. Between Raptor, myself and the people he knows in TX there will be a weapon had for you. If that makes the difference between being able to come down in March or not - I say hold off on the weapon.
I personally opted for the TM AK-47 Bieta... EVERYONE has an M-4/16 variant, and I am just not the run of the mill type of guy. Also, it is a very reliable, sturdy weapon that is easy to upgrade (all TM AK-47 series).

Steel,
Yeah thanx for the thought there about the weapon - but it is purely a work related problem now, with my being volunteered for this damned BARRT team. It was the boss who placed me on the team so I am unlikely to get off, cos I know why he wants me on the team, and he has a point!
Even without purchasing the weapon, the problem would have been not so much the finance, but the courtesy of leaving the wife and kids behind twice in 3 months!! A little unfair, and there is another agenda to attend to, that of visiting my cousin with the family - she has never met anyone, andf we were real friends as kids. Haven't met since I was 17 yrs old - that's a long time not to see a real friend! The whole thing is best done closer to the summer for me. I am sure there will be plenty of time to get stuck-in to this Airsoft thing.
