Hurricane Update

Well, several tornados and very nasty weather where I am, but nothing too serious so far.
Where Panzer lives, however, is another matter. The eye passed not too far away from his place, and he's without power. Who knows for how long? I've not spoken with him yet.

This cold front pushing the storm along is one of the strangest things I've ever seen, pulling the storm out into bands over 150 miles from the eye to the north, and almost nothing within 25 miles to the south.

Yeah, that I must say is very strange. Have to go take a look at the sat pic in a mo, and check out the iso chart too, see what it shows. Sounds very peculiar indeed.

But a typical weather report on these forums usually goes something like this:

Hurricane update: Yes, it's still spinning very very fast . . . . .

I'm back and alive guys! I have no power at home but I went back to work today and at least there's power here. Sigh.

I just heard that most power stations in my county will go back online today so I hope that means I'll get power tonight.

Good to hear you're ok Panzer.

So, I take it your work hasn't had power all week until today? Did you still have to work or did you get some days off? Hopefully you get power back at home soon, I know I would be frustrated not being able to do my normal routine, watch TV, surf the web, play games, etc..

Thanks SB! The company where I work did not have power at all until yesterday but I was not required to report back in until today. Yeah, I'm really going through some serious PC gaming withdrawals right now. I think I may do a MAJOR pc gaming marathon this weekend assuming I have power by then. LOL.

Very clever! The question is - what you going to do to stop her spending all that cash now?! maybe you could suspend the credit card for the weekend . . . . .
