U mean we have to choose?!?
I think i'd have to say Lucas, simply for Star Wars, and Indiana Jones.....plus his input into ILM, Skywalker Sound, and a whole host of other things. Tim Burton i find a bit too much. Whilst I like the first 2 Batman films, i think his interpretation of Gotham caused some problems with the subsequent films. Batman Returns especially was less a Batman film but more a Tim Burton film that happened to have Batman in it, if you know what i mean. I just think that this twisted the two later films. However, Batman Begins seems to have got it back on track

While I still haven't decided whether I'd like to slap Peter Jackson up side the head or shake his hand, I have no doubts whatsoever about George Lucas: the man should be tied to a bedpost and fed X-lax! And that's just for the damn ewoks in The Return of the Jedi.
TD
ps: you know who did you know what first

True. But he more than redeemed himself with the fantastic Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. At least in my eyes he did!

Takes me all my time to remember the names of films and what they're about. Never mind who the bloody director was! But I CAN say I enjoy the mass action footage that Jerry Brueckheimer gets involved in. Yes, I know it's very much all cliche crap too, but if there's something I really hate it's a film that takes an hour to get started, and is finished 20 mins later!

LOL, hate to break it to you Kodiak, but Bruckheimer is a producer. AFAIK, he's never directed anything.

You were probably thinking of Michael Bay, not Jerry Bruckheimer.
