By coincidence, i happened to be playing this mission at around the same time that this real life event happened:

My mission was pretty much exactly the same as what happened... Protecting shipping when pirates in fast boats attack a cargo ship. It made the DCS mission feel even more real, let alone coincidental!

Yeah, it's quite interesting when that happens. I would also like to add that the Royal Navy has been helping out the USN in the Red Sea in interdicting these Houthi attacks. It's nice to see a country besides the US pulling its own weight for once.
