Last night I ran a ground strike mission with the F-14 but couldn't get close to the island as an SA-11 kept firing on me and I had no SEAD support. After dodging 4 missiles, causing a reload, I figured forget it after I dodged my 5th missile and headed home.
Today, Mason was free and he agreed to give me SEAD support in the F-16C. We headed back for the strike. Our plan was to have the SA-11 light him up so he can get a HARM in, then I can follow up with my GBUs.
It refused to light up, even when I played wild weasel and flew over it.
So we continued the strike and took on some enemy air on the way back:
Trying to get some payback had me end up with only 2000 lbs of gas to trap on the carrier:

"Also, I would prefer a back seater over the extra gas any day. I would have 80 pounds of flesh to eat and a pair of glasses to start a fire." --F/A-18 Hornet pilot
