VBS 1

A link for a brief forum subject reference to VBS 1 for those who were interested in this - it would appear that we are not the only crowd who may be interested in this, regardless of the cost. And we are more than likely to meet like-minded people with this one instead of the usual run'n'gun types we so often are disappointed with.

Funny thing is that someone keeps referring to OFP?! Is VBS 1 related to OFP?

VBS1 was built with the OFP engine. Think of it really as an extreme mod to OFP designed for use by law enforcement and troop training.
OFP2 will hopefully be far more advanced as VBS1 offers minimal improvements in many areas, being focused more on better modeling of weapons and systems.

i am still quite interested in it, but might prefer to wait for ofp2 and see what that gives...

but without having it, it will be difficult to compare... it is a lot of money to buy it just for comparisons sake.
