Install the GOTY pack and then Island Thunder. Make sure you then apply the 1.4 patch (available online).

You can install the mods in any order ... they all will install into the "mods" folder. (FYI - even the desert siege, island thunder, and original missions are each technically "mods" and appear in the "mods" folder.)

is either side really dark? Aren't they both just shades of gray? I mean, aren't we all really just lousy grenade throwers who want to have fun?

Mods

Post by Softball »

Make sure you get the War of Infamy mod installed. I/we had a blast with this last night, very much like Band of Brothers IMO.

What I usually do with the mods is install them to my desktop, then I take the mods folder that is created and cut and paste it to the GR/Mods folder. It's just easier for me, I have had some issues with installing directly into the GR folder, so Cut and Paste seems to work great for me.

Some of the Mods we have and run are:

Desert Siege
Island Thunder
CH League 1.2(?)
HX4
War of Infamy
WOF Weapons
WOF Missions
Postcards from Peru

No dark side here Viper, unless your gamma on your settings is set at 50 like I had. DOH! I always wondered why everything was so damned dark. Now I have it set at 60 and I can SEE now.

No CD

Post by Softball »

There's a NO CD patch around somewhere. I think Bad Karma uses the NO CD key.
