This kind of looks like another HALO but the good news is , is that you can play it on your PC.
And… you get to do battle with Aliens .

Steel ! You moved my dang post again
That’s alright bro , but there could have been a little space action in the beginning. Oh well , next time I’ll get it right.
As far a Halo , what’s not to like ? That game was awesome man. It cracks me up when the big alien guy says , ….
Wo Human !
Nooooo! ....... Waahhhhhh !!
I get a kick out of that.
Tribes was better than Unreal and I never played Halo 2 so I won’t say nothing bad about that. But your conclusion on Halo was like a downer. Halo was a Great game man. I guess you just haft to have been in a better mood to have enjoyed it maybe ? No disrespect or talking down to you here. I think that your alright. Just throw on a smiley face next time so it don’t look like your bitching so much.

I suppose there was some hype abut Halo 2 but unfortunately I never had a chance to play it.
I’ll never buy an X-Box
Halo is an old game that was good in it’s day. I like it because it can still hold a candle to some of today’s PC games that are coming out. Some cheesy games I might add. Did you finish the Halo single player game ? I know the demo was just for multi player and it looks allot like tribes but lacks the fun. Too bad for that. It would have been better if it offered online single player missions that included you and some of your buds.

Prey Demo
PC Rocks !
IGN Review:
Having played the PC demo, the Xbox 360 version doesn't quite match up. Textures aren't quite as sharp, though the framerate seems roughly comparable. However, that largely depends on what kind of PC you're running the game on. The framerate in the Xbox 360 version hasn't stuttered so far, but on higher end PCs you'll be treated to a smoother overall experience, with better textures to boot. Still, the Xbox 360 version is looking really good. The expansive environments and lighting effects have been impressive so far, as well as the enemy animations.

We're in the pipe , five by five.
Just my 2 cents worth:
I've played the demo on both platforms and they are identical. Sure, I sit closer to my pc's monitor than my hdtv, but I couldn't see a visual difference -- although I was usually running for my life, not examining textures.
However, I like the console control scheme better than a keyboard. For aiming the weapons, I do like the mouse better than the analog stick, but all the other controls are better with the gamepad.
Just when I was getting the feel for the levels and layout of the game and really trying to think how the story was going to go, the demo ends. But then, I suppose that is the point of the demo. There's nothing like they way you can change the direction of gravity to solve little level-puzzles. And shooting enemies who are walking on the cieling? Talk about thinking in 3D.

Wow this games a Trip.
I walk out into the Bar seen and start changing the TV channel that looks just like a TV in person. I hear barracuda by Heart being played on the juke box so I walk over to see what else there is to play. I see there are a few albums there after touching the screen , so I select JUDAS PRIEST , of course. Than I try my hand at the video poker , that looks just like what you would see in a casino.
Nice realistic options for one who like to poke around a bit while playing . Whelp , this check keeps calling me so I’m going to get back to the game and see whats up.
So far so good.

Finished the Prey Demo. Wow, what a trip. Weird storyline for sure. Now I have to get the full version to see how it pans out.
I loved the first movie scene when the aliens grab you and take you up into the ship. You see the planet Earth view looking through a window in the alien ship, very cool. It really gives you the sense that you have been captured by aliens. I also like the "dimension cubes" that take you to different parts of the ship and such. Quite an amazing game so far, the graphics are breathtaking.
It's interesting how they take you to the "spirit world" when you die, and you have to fight your way back into your body.
This has to be one of the most bizzare FPS games/demos I have played. Not sure I like the Indian storyline or not, I'll have to save judgement for the full verison.
