New Maps

I just downloaded a bunch of new maps for graw. Many of them are remakes from original GR (POW Camp, Red Square, Embassy, etc). They are mostly TDM/DM type maps, but I am going to try to unbundle them (think de-pbo from OFP) and mod the game type to OGR-COOP and then rebundle them for our use. Wish me luck.

it's not simple, but it definitely looks do-able. I think I am going to try to convert mission02 first ... i just pulled it up in the editor ... let's see.

I just created and played my first home-made OGR-Coop map ... it was super simple, but it did work. Now, onto something more complicated.

FYI : it's not difficult to layout a level - you just drag and drop buildings and other "props" and place them on the blank canvas. The tricky part is placing the enemies and spawning baddies at the right time. They recommend less than 15 instantiated at any one time, so you have to manage their spawning. This would explain why they don't want the team to wander far from the leader ... they might trigger too many independent spawns ...

Now, on to something more complicated.
