Well, I am so happy. I finally passed E&E as well as every other training module. I assume others have passed already, but here are a couple of hints from my last run:
1. the leg from Checkpoint A to Checkpoint B seems to be the longest; from B to C appears to be as short as from the start to Checkpoint A
2. From A, move to the right of the bridge, go down the bank to the stream, follow the stream past the first large rock. then go up the other bank between that rock and the larger one to it's right. Continue to the right in the valley as before.
3. From B, you have a fork in the valley. take the right fork. i know, it is right at a well lit tower and valley. looks like there is no way thru. go right at the tower until he can't see you. hug the left bank of the valley until you reach the lit area. time your way through the lit area by watching the sweep of the light. you have one real tough area before you are past. be ready to fast crawl (use your insert key) as you hide under the tree branches and then the tower sweeps the searchlight over you and back where you came from. you can reach cover before he sweeps back.
4. the toughest is just before C where you face (from left to right) a light tower, a bridge, soldiers on the bridge and on the far bank, tow humvees with lights on and soldiers by them. your objective is to reach the truck which is also on the far bank but further away and farthest to the right.
first keeping the bridge structure between you and the soldier on the bridge go right at the bridge then down the bank right by the bridge (where there is lots of cover) and down to the stream. cross to the far bank and follow the stream to the right. too far and you will dead end. but between the bridge and the dead end, just to the right of the 2nd humvee, is a path up the far bank. find a spot in the brush midway between the humvee and the 5 ton truck (there is a soldier sitting just beyond under a canopy with lights). when the soldier by the humvee faces away, fast crawl far enough across so you can crawl to the truck and the observer cannot see you. as you approach the left side of the truck and raise to a crouch you will eventually reach a point where there is a message that appears at the bottom of the screen "use truck." press "E" a couple of times to flash the headlights. this will start the outro and your exfiltration.
Now what? Unless we start our own server, ya gotta join a bunch of testosterone-poisoned lunatic fraggers on the servers. Wish we had some coop missions.

1. i slow crawl most of the time. (insert key toggles between slow and fast crawl)
2. i use my binoculars (b and then zoom - z) to scan the ridge tops and find the observers
3. i crawl TOWARDS the observers when necessary to block their view of me
4. the correct path sometimes curves away from a direct path to the checkpoint. most of the time you cannot crawl over the hills. but a few places (see previous post) you find a path over a hill or around a tower. but i usually am crawling on the valley floor or the streambed
5. sometimes i watch the observers and time my move. the soldiers on the ridge tops mostly seem to have the rifle on their shoulders with their arms up and over the ends of the rifles. you can watch them turn to the side, then move.
6. i don't know if all this was necessary, but i got only one instance of a verbal alarm raised on my whole last run from the start to the finish. of course, when i heard that, i froze for about 10 seconds.

Thanks for the detailed explination Madrus. I still have not installed AA2 yet, but I plan to ASAP. Sounds like FUN!
As far as DLing AA2 goes, I have a Fileplanet account for Fast DLs. ICQ me and let me know that you need to DL the file and I'll give you the info you need to DL on the Fileplanet fast servers.

I am taking screenshots of my path through E&E. If you want a copy, let me know and I will email or ICQ it to you.
So far, I have the first leg to Checkpoint A done. It is only about 848 KB.
Tomorrow I should have the other three legs done.

Well, i finished E&E all the way through and am completely trained in all available training -- including medical training.
E&E wasn't so bad -- after the 28th time. You really have to hug the wall and if you get any verbal warning - stop dead in your tracks and wait for it to go away.

Yup! I finally got my copy installed yesterday, and just today quallled in E&E. Bit of trial and error really, but got there anyways. Did my combat medic qual too, while I was in need of a break from E&E. Para school qualled and only now to polish my performance on the range to get my "expert" which will allow me to go onto sniper school.
