For those that don't know, there is a Demo available for this Tactical combat sim. I DL'd the demo last night and made a 17 minute (97MB) movie of the action. You can get the demo from: http://www.fullspectrumwarrior.com/fsw2/demo.php

You can check out the official web site at: http://www.fullspectrumwarrior.com/fsw2/

EDIT: Video clip removed, 4/4/06. ~SB

DL the demo if you want to see it. :)

not bad...

is it just 3rd person?

the 203 grenade is kinda hokey flying through the air like that. its launch sound is also not good.

looks very linear and directed as far as paths go as well?

I'll give the demo a try but I doubt I'll buy it unless I'm really impressed.

Downloading the video now, and I'll give the demo a try too. But it isn't really on my list of potentials at the mo.

It's all pretty scripted and linear as far as the gameplay goes. Gator and I have played the original on Xbox a few times and really enjoy it. Some of the missions we played really make you think. This new version allows you to split your teams into groups of two and one(scouts). This will make MP coop much better IMO. It's mostly 3rd person, although the Team Leader and Grenadier have a 1st person aiming mode you can use. I have to agree, that M203 grenade flying into that building looked cheesy. Lol!

I really like the original FSW, so I'm looking forward to FSW2. You have to play the game in MP COOP to really appreciate it, that's where this game shines.

Bah, I finished the demo last night, it's not far after where I got hit in the video I made. I got to control an M2A2 and move it through the city, very cool. Of course right after I move it to where I am supposed to go, the demo ends (timer?) and they tell me to buy the full version, lol. No worries there, I'll be getting the full version soon enough. :)

Guess I'll take another look at the video, see if I can get the sound working. Not sure about d/l'ing the demo though.
